With Mark Steele gearing up to deliver his It’s Been a Minute album Friday (Oct. 12), the North Carolina native drops off the No Malice-assisted “Grace Of God” visual via Billboard premiere on Monday (Oct. 8). The video follows in the footsteps of previously released singles “Surprise” and “Good Time.”
The Profound Sounds-produced clip kicks off with Steele greeting No Malice before the pair head inside Virginia’s Chrysler Museum of Art. 9th Wonder‘s protege heads to the building’s rooftop alongside the Clipse member, where the duo detail persevering through each of their treacherous journeys, while remembering the ones lost along the way.
“There’s usually two type of people in the streets. The person bringing the action, and person caught in the middle of the action. Either way there’s a large number of people from our neighborhoods that don’t survive it all,” Steele tells Billboard. “This song and video represents that story. Starring two survivors that lived to tell it. Only because of God’s Grace.”
